Semi-Private Lessons
Semi-Private lessons are only available in Manhattan and are designed for 2-3 people to train at once. If you have a friend you want to train with, this is the perfect opportunity. If you are training solo, we can pair you with a similarly skilled shooter. Semi-private lessons are 90 minutes for $100/each (you save around 10% off a comparably priced private lesson). Targets and range fees included.
Private Lessons
Private Lessons are 60-minute one-on-one lessons with the instructor and are $80/hr for live fire (includes target and range fee) and $60/hr for non-shooting lessons. They allow you to focus on your specific training needs without distraction. All of our training classes are available as a private lesson:
- Basic handgun training (semiautomatic or revolver)
- Gun Cleaning
- Pepper Spray
- Home and Community Safety
To truly meet your training goals, however, we’ll evaluate and adjust lesson plans based on your individual needs. Most people start with 3 lessons and add more based on their goals.
I am authorized to teach at the following ranges: Integrity Elite Firearms in Lawrence, Flint Hills Shooting Range in Manhattan, and Centerfire in Olathe.
Private lessons can be done in your home to help you get comfortable before we do our 1st session at the range. This is a great option for families, youth, or those who have experienced trauma*.
*I have extensive experience working with people who have experienced a traumatic event and helping then learn how to best protect themselves in a manner that makes you not only feel safe, but actually be safe. We welcome people from all backgrounds but reserve the right to refuse to train anyone who causes concerns about violence against others.
