Introduction to Purse Carry
If you’re thinking about purse carry for your handgun it’s not as simple as throwing a gun in your bag and going about your day. There are several important factors to consider, including the type of purse and potential safety issues.
This class will help you decide if purse carry is right for you and teach you how to pick an appropriate purse for your firearm. Too often we see ladies with purses that don’t fit their firearm. The wrong purse can make them practically useless in an emergency situation. We will review the special lifestyle considerations to carrying “off body”, and how to safely access and utilize your firearm if you should ever need it.
There is no live fire in this class. We will practice drawing from a purse with cleared and barrel blocked firearms. You do not have to have a concealed carry purse already to sign up. I have a selection of concealed carry purse you can try out.
The class is appropriate for individual lessons or small groups in the home or a community location. The fee is $65 per person (plus any facility rental fees). Discounted fees are available for groups of 5 or more. Contact us here to learn more and get scheduled.
